Position
- Build and ship new high impact features and improvements to the AY App using Dart and Flutter, contributing to one of the most widely-used applications built with Flutter
- Work closely together with other experienced developers, product managers, QA, and designers to ship new components and features
- Proactively identify and seek to resolve technical debt and building internal tools to enhance team productivity
- Have a direct impact on team processes by regular agile retrospectives
Your qualification
- 4+ years of programming experience, at least 2 years of app development experience
- Extensive experience in frontend development, ideally across multiple frameworks
- Extensive experience in Flutter
- Strong expertise in UI development and building complex frontend logic
- You write well-structured, efficient and maintainable code and actively keep the quality of the code base in check
- You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- You are used to working in an English speaking environment
- Excellent problem-solving: You can solve conceptual, non-standard problems and exercise solid judgment based on analysing multiple sources of information
- High autonomy and ownership: You are motivated, take matters into your own hands, and can implement a complex feature with little oversight from your manager
- Strong communicator: You can communicate transparently, honestly, and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders (e.g. Product, Design)
- Team player: You actively share knowledge, inspire other team members, and aim to fulfill team goals
Will be a plus
- Design awareness and ability to collaborate closely with designers
- Familiarity with gRPC and Go in a shop backend environment
- Expertise in UI and Animation development
